MethStreams went dark on the same day as its sister site CrackStreams, at the end of December 2024. The name still ranks, mostly for sites that are not it.

MethStreams ran the same playbook as CrackStreams, and by most accounts under the same operator. Basketball sat alongside NFL, MLB, boxing and MMA on a single nightly schedule.
Its basketball coverage was NBA-first, with NCAA games added through the winter and into March.
No video was hosted on the site itself. Feeds came from third parties, which is why quality varied game to game and why takedowns were quick to bite.
MethStreams and CrackStreams both went offline on 30 December 2024, per Front Office Sports. A banner on both sites suggested the operator was stepping back rather than being seized, though the closure came during sustained ACE pressure on the category.
Since then, US authorities have seized dozens of pirate sports streaming domains in coordinated rounds timed around major events, per TorrentFreak.
Anything currently trading under the MethStreams name is an unrelated operator using it to capture residual search demand.
The sticker price is zero. The real cost shows up in four places, and every one of them is worse during a game you care about.

The basketball MethStreams carried is all available legally. The NBA and NCAA routes below are the two that matter most.

On basketballstreams.com the fixtures, live scores, standings, head-to-head records and form data across 36 leagues are free and need no account. The live video sits with a licensed operator, either Bet365 or Stake depending on which one holds a licence where you are, and unlocking it takes a funded account rather than a subscription.

The public evidence points to the operator taking the sites down rather than a seizure, though it happened during coordinated anti-piracy pressure on the whole category. Domain seizures elsewhere in the category are well documented.
Anything using it today is a different operator. Treat the name as a marketing label rather than a continuation of the original site.
